Taxi to Schiphol or park at the airport? Compare both for your dates

SchipholParking.info now compares a taxi to Schiphol there and back with the cheapest airport parking for your exact dates, from 12 Dutch cities.
Should you take a taxi to Schiphol or drive and park? SchipholParking.info now answers that on its parking cost estimator. Pick the city you are travelling from and how many people are going, and the new panel sets the cheapest parking for your dates against a taxi there and back.
The taxi price is the 2026 legal maximum for metered taxis in the Netherlands, set by the government: 4.31 euros to start, 3.17 euros per kilometre and 0.52 euros per minute for up to four people, with the minivan rate for five to eight. Distances come from the fastest road route between each city's main station and Schiphol Plaza.
From Rotterdam, for example, a taxi there and back costs up to 430 euros, while the cheapest parking for a five day trip is about 45 euros. Pre booked taxis with a fixed price are often cheaper than the maximum, and parking does not include fuel, so the panel says both.
The comparison covers Amsterdam, Haarlem, Leiden, The Hague, Almere, Utrecht, Rotterdam, Amersfoort, Arnhem, Zwolle, Eindhoven and Groningen, in five languages. For the train, it links to the NS journey planner.
