The best roller coasters in the Netherlands, ranked by thrill

Achtbaan ranked the best roller coasters in the Netherlands by thrill score: Goliath, Untamed, Fenix, Troy, Baron 1898 and Joris en de Draak.

Achtbaan has published a guide to the best roller coasters in the Netherlands, ranked by thrill score: the six Dutch coasters in its catalogue, two in each of Walibi Holland, Toverland and Efteling.

Goliath and Untamed at Walibi Holland share the top score of 34 out of 100. Goliath is the tallest and fastest of the six at 46 metres and 106 km/h, while Untamed, the country's first RMC hybrid, has the most inversions. Toverland follows with the wing coaster Fenix and the wooden coaster Troy, and Efteling's Baron 1898 and Joris en de Draak complete the list.

The guide explains what the thrill score measures and what it misses, such as theming, and how to ride all six with Achtbaan's ride log and park planner. Every Dutch coaster page now links to it. Read it at achtbaan.com.
