Schiphol parking prices now show car to gate time

SchipholParking.info's price card now asks for an optional departure hall and shows each parking option's car to gate time next to its price.

SchipholParking.info has added an optional departure hall to the price card on its homepage and in its guides. Travellers who know whether they fly from Departures 1, 2 or 3 can pick it, and every option in the card then shows its car to gate time next to the price for their dates.

The cheapest option is not always the one that works for a tight schedule. An off-site park and ride can be the lowest price but take more than half an hour to reach a gate in Departures 3, while the terminal car park takes around twenty minutes. Until now, that comparison only appeared in the full estimator; it is now visible straight away in the card.

The times combine each option's walk or shuttle to the terminal with an approximate walk from security to the gates of the chosen hall, the same figures the estimator uses, and the card says they are estimates. The hall is optional, is remembered for the next visit, and carries over when travellers open the full comparison. It works in all five languages of the site.
